Inside you wouldn't know there had been a problem. The queen is laying well and has seven frames of brood. The top contains only nectar. The honey in the super looks great and the bees are as nice as pie. I suppose most of the dead came from the top box but I'm sure the hive will get over it. I am going to be anxious when I next have to unite two colonies.trogtrogbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12393331921469572350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5830366855111945407.post-35918960915435852152017-07-07T10:15:45.222+01:002017-07-07T10:15:45.222+01:00No I don't think so. It all stopped after 48 hours and the hive now looks back to normal from the outside. I haven't yet looked in to see that the queen is OK.trogtrogbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12393331921469572350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5830366855111945407.post-13186911488545746222017-07-07T08:01:23.347+01:002017-07-07T08:01:23.347+01:00I suppose there's no way this could be a pesti...I suppose there's no way this could be a pesticide issue? Beekeeping is never boring!Out To Pasturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17949493910996476623noreply@blogger.com
